To whom did Christ appear first, the women or His disciples? MATTHEW 28:9

MATTHEW 28:9—To whom did Christ appear , the women or disciples?

: Both Matthew and Mark list women as the ones to the resurrected Christ. Mark says, “He appeared to Mary Magdalene” (16:9). But lists Peter (Cephas) as the one to Christ after resurrection (1 Cor. 15:5).

: Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, to the other women, and to Peter. The order of the twelve appearances of Christ goes as follows:

was not giving a complete list, but only the important one for purpose. Since only ’s testimony was considered legal or official in the 1st century, it is understandable that the apostle not list the women in defense of the resurrection here.
